AB 2138 ‐ Substantial Relationship Criteria, Criteria for Evaluating Rehabilitation
On June 1, 2021, the Office of Administrative Law approved the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services’ proposed action to amend Division 7 of Title 16, California Code of Regulations (CCR) sections 602 and 602.1 and filed the action with the Secretary of State. This regulatory action became effective on June 1, 2021.

Omnibus Clean-Up and Permit Reform Act Regulation Repeal
On March 18, 2021, the Office of Administrative Law approved the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services' proposed action to amend Division 7 of Title 16, California Code of Regulations (CCR) sections 601, 601.1, 601.2, 601.3, 601.6, 601.7, 601.8, 601.9, 601.10, 603, 606, 607, 607.4, 607.5, 608.3, 620, 621, 621.2, 622, 624, 625, 625.1, 626, 627, 628, 629, 630, 631.1, 632, 634, 635, 636, 637, 637.1, 643, and 645, and repeal CCR section 601.4. These amendments are adopted in compliance with Title 1, Division 1, Chapter 1, Article 2, section 100(b)(3), of the CCR, and do not materially alter any requirement, right, responsibility, condition, prescription, or other regulatory element of any CCR. This regulatory action became effective on March 18, 2021.
